Consortium board

The INTEGRATE Consortium is a network of partner institutions that is based on successful long-term North-South and South-South institutional collaborations in the field of Lassa fever research. The INTEGRATE Board is the governing body of this consortium responsible for its strategic decisions.

The INTEGRATE Board is chaired by the Chief Medical Director of the Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Edo State, Professor Reuben Eifediyi. The position of Prof Eifediyi as chairman of the Board ensures one of the main strategic principles of the INTEGRATE Consortium to firmly anchor the ownership and leadership of clinical Lassa fever research programs at institutions of endemic countries.

The INTEGRATE Board consists of the two leading Nigerian Lassa fever treatment centers Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital (ISTH) and Federal Medical Center Owo (FMCO) and their long-term Northern partner institutions: the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine, Germany (BNITM), ALIMA and ANRS-ME, France.

The INTEGRATE Board consists of the following representatives of the member institutions:

  • ANRS-MIE | ALIMA : Prof Yazdan Yazdanpanah – Dr Richard Kojan
